It’s All About Relationships
“I know you, you’re our parenting lady.”
I was arriving at a book club meeting when the husband of the host came into the hall. As our host, Susan, started to introduce me, her husband noted that he already knew me. He is a senior lawyer at Borden Ladner Gervais and they participate in the Great@Home — Great@Work program.
When GH — GW is offered through a law firm, association, union or business it is the relationship that all the staff have with Kathy Lynn at Parenting Today that makes it stand out from the rest. I am Kathy Lynn and I love getting to know parents when I offer this program.
GH — GW offers a variety of options to the workplace but whether it’s a workshop, meeting, article or email exchange the participants all know that they are dealing with Kathy and only Kathy. They know me, they trust me and they relate to me.When you are looking to offer a program to the parents in your workplace, remember that relationships matter. Parents want to hear from and talk to someone they know. They want to be able to say:
“I know you, you’re our parenting lady.”
